Part of Giles Drive Personal Property Auction (timed auction by Linkous Auction Group)

High bid $55.00

Status: Sold

Patriotic and collectible, this vintage wall clock, measuring 12"W X 5"D X 24.5" T, commemorates the 200th anniversary of American independence (1776-1976). The face features a colorful depiction of "The Spirit of '76" with Roman numeral hour markers, a bright gold-toned dial, and embossed floral corner accents. Below the main clock face is a glass panel showcasing a swinging pendulum with a brass Liberty Bell medallion and decorative scrollwork. The wood case has a classic colonial-style bonnet top and rich dark finish. This is a striking piece, with minor wear that is consistent with age, that would be perfect for vintage decor or clock collectors.
