Known for its balance, reliability, and elegant design, the Silver Pigeon is one of Beretta’s most popular and enduring models. The shotgun is fitted with 26.5-inch excelsior-high strength alloy steel barrels, which retain excellent dark original bluing and sharp barrel markings. The bores are exceptional, bright, and shiny. The boxlock receiver bears the Beretta logo at the center on both sides, surrounded by delicate floral and scroll engraving. The underside of the action shows similar engraving and fine detailing. The receiver remains in very good condition overall, with only a few small, scattered handling marks. The tang-mounted barrel release, safety, and barrel selector are all in excellent working order. The trigger is gold-colored, paired with a finely engraved trigger guard that incorporates both the Beretta logo and leaf pattern engraving. The walnut stock set is of high quality. The beavertail forearm is checkered on both sides and remains in exquisite condition with a warm patina. The buttstock is checkered at the pistol grip and fitted with a black rubber recoil pad embossed with the Beretta logo. It also features an adjustable comb, providing customizable comfort and fit. This shotgun is housed in its original Beretta box, adding to its desirability. Overall, this Beretta Silver Pigeon remains in excellent condition, combining the craftsmanship and reputation of Beretta with practical features for both the field and range. With its original case, adjustable stock, and high-quality barrels, it is both a fine sporting arm and a desirable addition to any shotgun collection. FFL Status: Modern
