Factory Engraved Hubertus Over/Under Combination Gun – 16 Gauge & .243 – Luxus Model This exquisite Hubertus factory engraved over/under combination gun, serial number 109273, is chambered in 16 gauge and .243 Winchester and represents the finest tradition of German craftsmanship. Built as a Luxus model, this firearm features extraordinary engraving and deluxe appointments, making it both a functional sporting gun and a true work of art. The gun is fitted with 23.75-inch barrels, with the 16-gauge barrel choked improved modified. Both bores remain bright and perfect. The receiver is adorned with deep relief German-style engraving, including an elk scene on the left side, a duck scene on the right, and extensive scroll and leaf motifs throughout. This engraving is complemented by further embellishment on the stock and forearm, which carry hand-engraved elk, scrolls, and foliage. The pistol grip is fitted with a German silver cap, engraved with an elk in fine detail. The stock is finely checkered walnut with a raised cheekpiece for right-handed shooters, paired with the original red rubber recoil pad. Both the wood and metal remain in excellent condition, showing only the faintest handling marks. The firearm includes cocking indicators and features a double trigger, one for each barrel.
