Remington 700 ADL – .30-06 Springfield with Tasco 6–24x40 Scope This Remington Model 700 ADL, serial number 6653392, is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, one of the most proven and versatile cartridges in American hunting history. Known as a masterpiece of American firearm engineering, the Model 700 is celebrated for its accuracy, reliability, and smooth performance in the field. The rifle is equipped with a 22-inch barrel featuring a bright, shiny bore with strong rifling. The front sight is a ramped blade dovetailed into the barrel, while the adjustable rear sight has had its top piece removed to accommodate the mounted scope. The barrel retains excellent original bluing with sharp factory markings, showing only slight silvering around the muzzle. The bolt action is smooth, with a jeweled bolt and a strawed bolt handle that retains very good blueing. The receiver, factory drilled and tapped, displays a fine original finish with crisp markings. The safety is located on the right side behind the bolt handle. The trigger guard shows only faint edge wear and remains in excellent condition with strong original finish. The rifle is fitted with a handsome hardwood Monte Carlo stock featuring pressed checkering on both the forearm and pistol grip. The stock retains a rich satin finish, with a raised comb and dual sling swivels. The buttstock is capped with a black Remington-marked polymer buttplate in excellent condition. Mounted with 1-inch Weaver scope bases and rings, the rifle is topped with a Tasco 6–24x40 scope. The scope features a duplex reticle and clear optics, offering excellent magnification range and field versatility for both hunting and target shooting. This rifle remains in very good overall condition, with both its classic wood stock and optics setup enhancing its appeal. A fine example of the trusted Remington 700 ADL line, this package is both functional and collectible, ready for hunting use or addition to a sporting collection. FFL Status: Modern
