Vintage Weaver Model V8 Variable Power Scope – 1965 Production – New in Box with Original Mounts This vintage Weaver Model V8 variable power scope, produced in 1965, remains new in box and complete with its original mounts, first focal plane triple-wire ranging reticle, and factory packaging. The V8 was one of Weaver’s most versatile and respected models of the era, offering a variable magnification range of 2.5x to 8x—ideal for hunters and sportsmen seeking flexibility in the field. This example is exceptionally well-preserved, showing no signs of use. The blued finish remains intact, and the optics are clear and bright. The first focal plane triple-wire ranging reticle enhances accuracy across multiple distances, providing precision that was ahead of its time in 1960s sporting optics. The scope comes complete with its original box, mounts, and paperwork, making it a highly desirable and collectible package. Scopes from this period represent an important chapter in American sporting optics, and the Weaver V8 holds a special place for its durability, clarity, and innovative design. A rare opportunity to acquire a factory-original 1965 Weaver V8 in unused condition, complete with mounts, reticle, and packaging—perfect for mounting on a period-correct rifle or as a centerpiece in a fine sporting optics collection. Condition: New in box, with original mounts and packaging.
